Learners and staff at Break Through School came together for an unforgettable day of entertainment, creativity, and talent at our first ever Break Through’s Got Talent event. From impressive football skills to original rap performances, the showcase highlighted the diverse abilities and passions of our school community.
The event featured a range of performances, with learners stepping up to demonstrate their unique skills. A standout moment was the football skills on display, where one learner wowed the crowd with flawless kick-ups, while staff member Wayne took on the challenge of completing 100 kick-ups in under one minute – an inspiring display of skill and determination.
Adding to the excitement, the school’s finance manager surprised everyone with her musical talents, performing an original rap that had the audience cheering. The event was a true celebration of creativity, confidence, and self-expression.
School Principal Ruth Elliott praised the event, saying:
“Break Through’s Got Talent was more than just a talent show; it was an opportunity for our learners to shine, build confidence, and showcase their passions. Seeing the enthusiasm and bravery of everyone who took part was truly inspiring, and it reflects the supportive and encouraging environment we foster at Break Through School.”
The event was a fantastic way to bring the school community together, reinforcing the importance of celebrating each learner’s individuality. We can’t wait to showcase this to all parents and carers in our upcoming Family Fayre in March, details coming soon!
