“I have found working with Break Through over the PEP process very positive. The DT, Sarah Hawley, was very well prepared for the meeting, she had all the relevant information to hand and was able to provide clear information on all aspects of the learner. There are considerable challenges, not least his poor attendance, however the school have a plan to implement in January which will enable him to take some ownership of his learning and the school will make reasonable adjustments to accommodate his wishes. Hopefully with the support of the rest of the network this learner’s attendance will start to improve.”
